The Coloufix surface is extremely receptive to all pastels and holds layers and layers of color. Colorfix papers are available in sheets of 19x23 or in packs of 10 or 20 various sizes and tones. Colorfix are sheets of 140lb acid free hot press paper that has been screen printed with Colorfix primer. The primer is acrylic based; so Colorfix can be used with watercolor, acrylic, and oil washes before you apply your pastel. It is also excellent for charcoal and pencil.
