Autumn Re-Leaf - In Person Workshop with Brandy Antonio

Join Brandy as she combines Liquitex Soft Body Acrylic paint with Ceramic Stucco to create textural, abstract relief-style paintings inspired by Autumn leaves. In this demo we will explore colors within the Liquitex Soft Body range, break down the basic shape of autumn leaves to create interesting abstract compositions, use a palette knife to mix paint and ceramic stucco to build up texture, and use various brush sizes for details. Brandy will answer questions about using Liquitex acrylics and incorporating mediums. Participants are encouraged to bring in their autumn leaves.

About Brandy Antonio
Brandy Antonio (b.1982) is an artist and educator from New York specializing in drawing, painting and collage. Bold brushstrokes, gestural marks and color characterize her work with a focus on themes of identity, human development, and spiritual enrichment. She earned a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and an MA in Art Education from New York University. Brandy has exhibited in the US as well as internationally and recently relocated to New York after teaching and making art in Tokyo, Japan for the past four years.
