Printmaking 101 - In Person Workshop With Amanda Santerre
Ends: 3:00pm
If you have ever wanted to carve your own stamps, but feel confused about how to start, this is the perfect class for you! In this class students will learn numerous skills that will aid in the design and creation of their very own block print.
Using Speedball's Speedy Carve product, as well as the brand's tools and inks, participants will get hands-on experience and leave class with their own carved block, as well as prints of their work.
This is a class for all skill levels. The time allotted will allow for assistance with coming up with a design to carve, but if you would like to bring some sketches or printouts of a design you are more than welcome. We will be carving on a 4x6 piece of material.
Students will leave with their carved work and any prints made.
Carving tools, brayers, and inks will be available for all students to use during the duration of the class and available for purchase in the store if participants wish to own their own supplies for at home printmaking fun!
