Spring Nature Journaling
Connect to the spring in your soul! Wonder is everywhere all around us if only we will stop to look. Learn simple, meditative writing and sketching practices to help you connect with yourself, spring, and Mother Earth. Spring is all about emergence, growth, and refreshing the spirit, and it's the perfect time to begin a nature journaling habit, so come discover the amazing universe inside every flower and leaf. The beauty of the world will open to you when you take the time to be with it.
Materials list:
Participants should bring a blank, unlined sketchbook or journal and a pen or pencil
Recommended pencils: HB (#2 pencil), H, B
Recommended pens: Micron pens in any of the following sizes 01, 02, 03, 05, 08, 10

Optional:
Colored pencils, any variety
markers, any variety
conte crayons Conte a Paris (matchbox set of 4)

Classes are held in our newly renovated downstairs classroom/gallery area next door. All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult that must remain present for the entirety of the workshop/class. An onsite waiting room is available.

Leslie is a woodland fairy in human form who has been communing with Nature since she was a child. Her art and poetry are joyful expressions of her sacred connection to Mother Earth. Her work arises out of a fusion of her experiences with meditative and contemplative practice and as an Art + Architecture Librarian and outdoor educator. Her art and poetry have been featured in Artemis Journal and gallery shows in Connecticut, Maine, and Virginia.
