Kids Summer Morning Art Camp (7 – 10 years old) Introduction to Modeling Session 2

Monday 7/17 - Friday 7/21 10am - noon

Modeling in making different objects on a small scale using different materials such as: paper, wood and even metal. Modeling is used for the creation of prototypes such as machinery, buildings, transport, etc. either for industrial use or as a recreational hobby

Objective: In this course, students will experience the first steps of this creative discipline, through the elaboration of some simple objects on paper, which will go in different levels of difficulty, being the lowest 1 and the highest 3.

Benefits: Modeling is a fun and entertaining way to carry out a creative project, whether it is a building model, an object, an animal or a fantastic invention.

As part of a technical and artistic discipline, it brings some additional benefits such as: Motor and cognitive development, objective and spatial observation for solving puzzles, vocational guidance and creative development.

All this simplified in 3 steps: cut, fold and paste.

Projects will include:
• 1-3D geometric figures
• 2- Simple house, medieval castle
• 3-Periscope
• 4-Animal masks
• 5-Robot

*Optional themes: origami, optical effect dragon, paper boomerang, robot dinosaur.
