Wabi Sabi II - Zoom Virtual Workshop

This 3 hour VIRTUAL workshop will focus on combining drawing tools with cold wax and oil techniques. Most drawing elements will be applied to the surface first with successive transparent layers of wax and oil paint going over these under-drawings. Scrapers and other tools can remove layers while oil color crayons can work back into the wet surface. The underlying theme is Color and Abstract Painting with strong attention placed on layering using all the available tools.

**This is a continuation of the Wabi Sabi I workshop. We strongly advise taking Wabi Sabi I before signing up for Wabi Sabi II to ensure that you have the proper knowledge and materials going into this workshop.**

$50 Class Fee
Class Fee includes access to the Zoom workshop as well as the required materials to work from home. The materials Kit is available via Curb-Side Pickup or UPS Delivery ($12 fee for shipping)

Students should have:
• A workspace that can accommodate working on multiple wet surfaces at once.
• Drop cloth for table and floor.
• Rubber gloves
• paper towels
• Anything you have around that can make a mark
