Wabi Sabi, Cold Wax, & Oil Paint – Zoom Virtual Workshop

This 3 hour VIRTUAL workshop will show the working properties of cold wax mixed with oil paint. Our working theme will be Wabi Sabi, which is a traditional Japanese aesthetic sometimes described as beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. The underlying theme of this class is Color and Abstract Painting. You will work with palette knives and other non-traditional application tools

$65 Class Fee
Class Fee includes access to the Zoom workshop as well as the required materials to work from home. The materials Kit is available via Curb-Side Pickup or UPS Delivery ($12 fee for shipping)

Students should have:
• A workspace that can accommodate working on multiple wet surfaces at once.
• Drop cloth for table and floor.
• Rubber gloves
• paper towels
• Anything you have around that can make a mark
