This board with its distinctive white core is our recommended mat board for all artists. Besides being a designer board with a wide variety of colors that can compliment any picture, this board is conservation grade made of 100% virgin alpha-cellulose surface paper, core and backing paper. Select is a 4 ply board that is both lignin-free and acid-free and is buffered with calcium carbonate to an alkaline reserve of 3-5%.

Colors are fade and bleed resistant so they last as long as your art. So now you can have a museum quality board at just a slight premium to standard mat boards from other companies. For artists seeking a deep bevel we also offer 4 white shades in 6 ply board.
